Bourbonnais, IL

"The Village of Friendship"
Bourbonnais is not a railroad town, they have a few industries listed in their township, but was not founded by the Illinois Central or even had a station. The nearest station most go to is Kankakee, IL which was a railroad town. Nowadays it hosts a steel mill, steel recycling center, and pharmaceutical factory. On the railroad this area is similar to Indian Oaks, IL and 'North Kankakee'. The town of Indian Oaks was absorbed into Bourbonnais as well. Because of this, E6000N Rd. down to St. George Road are technically Bourbonnais now.

The major industries include Nucor Steel, CSL Behring. and Bunge Foods. (Bunge is technically in Bradley however)
